Our Story

Daniel Ramsey – Senior Pastor

Pastor Dan has served Grace Church as senior pastor since 2003. Dan was educated at Grace College and Grace Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, IN. He has received two degrees: Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Divinity.

Dan’s career in service to the Lord has been shaped primarily by his experience as a missionary in Germany for the 21 years prior to moving to Loveland. He planted a church in Leonberg, Germany and pastored there for 15 years. He regularly taught at the Breckerfeld Bible School near Hagen, Germany. He concluded his work in Germany in the city of Berlin, building relationships from which a church may one day be formed.

Dan has enjoyed 32 years of marriage to Denise. They have two grown daughters who are married, Sara and Kristina, and a teenage daughter, Jackie. Kristina and her husband Jay have two children, Justine and Owen.

Dan has a passion for seeing people meet Jesus and grow up in Him. His missionary ‘bent’ is obvious when you see him in action, building relationships with new people he meets. He also loves God’s word and has a strong desire to preach and teach its truth to all who are willing to hear and apply.

Scott Carson – Associate Pastor

Scott has served as an elder at Grace Church for many years. A graduate of Penn State, Scott is a successful engineer with General Electric. In addition to the technical know how he brings to the ministry at Grace Church, he is also known as an excellent teacher and small group leader with many practical insights.

Scott has been married to his wife Nancy for 25 years. They have five children: Mindy, Aaron, Tim, Sarah, and Grace.

David Moss – Minister of Music and Worship

David grew up in the greater Cincinnati area and has been a part of Grace Church since 1998. He has served as minister of music since 2000, bringing a fresh contemporary style of worship to the church. David is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and is employed as an accountant at a local firm. David and his wife Leah have been married for 17 years. They are host and hostess to many guests, who have come to enjoy the hospitality and warm atmosphere their home provides. They have six children: Derek, Halee, Josh, Joel, Andrew, and Gabe.

Our History

Grace Church began as Cincinnati Grace Brethren Church in the home of church planters Mike and Liz Clapham in September of 1980. About a year later, the church moved to a preschool in Sharonville, and met there until the fall of 1986, when the church went self-supporting and acquired land at the church’s present location. Construction began in earnest in 1992 and the church eventually moved from their temporary meeting location at Loveland Middle School to our present facilities in December of 1993.

Pastor Ed Dezago took over as Senior Pastor in June of 1995. After four years of fruitful ministry, he resigned in June 1999 to pursue doctoral studies at Southern Baptist Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. Pastor Phil Spence took over the leadership in January of 2000. During Phil’s tenure of nearly 2 ½ years, Pastor Jon Cosgrove was added to the staff as the new youth and children’s pastor and a new educational wing was started and completed.

Pastor Dan Ramsey began his ministry at the church in June 2003, which continues to the present. Pastor Dan has overseen the restructuring of the church ministry, including the name change to Grace Church in September 2004.
